Handsets this size are not for everyone, but The Scene is a huge fan because bigger, brighter displays make both business and pleasure easier and more enjoyable. For the past two years, The Scene has rated Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 and Note 3 as the best handsets of 2012 and 2013 respectively. It would have been noted that many Irish consumers were at the time put off by the 5.7in size of the Note 3, and the 5.5in frame of the Note 2, but in 2014 smartphones of the 5-in plus variety have become the norm. Despite that, the forthcoming Galaxy Note 4 and the iPhone 6 Plus will both have niche appeal in Europe compared to their smaller siblings — the 5.2in S5 and the 4.7in iPhone 6. In Asian countries such as China, however, the bigger devices are much more popular. The 6 Plus is nearly a half-inch taller than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at 6.22 in. But it is both thinner at 0.22 in and narrower at 3.06 in. It weighs about the same at 172 gms. Edges It's made of matte aluminum and the curved edges mean it nestles comfortably in your hand. There is little difference in terms of spec and design between the iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 6 apart from the size obviously. The iPhone 6 Plus is armed with a couple of unique features, however.
